kanti is a new skincare brand, created to un-komplicate skincare for people of color and help them to uncover their natural glo. we are a modern, homegirl approved brand, katering to the skincare needs of melanin-rich millennials. as a brand, we are committed to building a kommunity of women building each other up and we want to help our klique to glo up in all aspects of life.

kanti university internship overview

although we are a startup, kanti is growing at a krazy fast rate & we want to provide college students and recent grads with professional opportunities to make a huge impact in a fast-growing environment. with both kanti's co-founders, alisha & keamone being university graduates and keamone being a member of the first black sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, it was especially important to create a program that really celebrates and highlights our young women. kanti university was created to provide young collegiate women of color with professional opportunities and tools that we feel are lacking in our kommunity. many internships don't prioritize our people, much less our girls, so that's why it was so important for us to make this a female-only internship program, FOR US, period. kanti university offers internship opportunities in the following areas:

• creative – are you a creative at heart? work with our team to bring ideas to life and visually tell kanti's brand story through unique graphic design, photography, videography & more.

• marketing – into strategy & data? learn about consumer and purchase behavior online, while creating & implementing innovative, big picture marketing strategies that really work.

• social media – love social media? learn the ins and outs of managing a brand’s social channels and how to build a killer social content strategy that's backed by data & delivers results.

• public relations – communications your thing? master the art of successfully pitching to notable magazines and blogs while gaining hands-on experience working with your favorite influencers.

for each internship klass (fall, spring & summer), we select six (6) xtra special individuals to join our various teams and work with kanti for up to 14 weeks!

kanti launch project (K.L.P.)

kanti launch project is a collaborative scheme, designed to give our interns hands on experience in the realms of beauty & marketing. apart from day to day work in our different departments, each internship klass works together to develop a complete launch campaign for one of kanti’s new products. our internship klasses will have a real chance to demonstrate their understanding of how marketing, creative, social media & public relations work in synergy to make a successful business. upon graduation of kanti u, the klass will present/pitch their launch campaign to our entire kanti gloSquad and receive prizes!
